The small area of Faeta is included in the country village called Caprese Michelangelo, the birthplace of the eminent Italian painter and sculptor of the Renaissance Michelangelo Buonarroti, and it is set near the charming town of Arezzo (Tuscany).
Here, at about 600 metres above sea level, you can find a wonderful cottage built in the typical Tuscan style, dating back to the 14th century and entirely realized with local stone. The 4-hectare property of “Il Borgo di Faeta” consists of a group of fine buildings most of which has been recently restored: a huge farmhouse with a small consecrated chapel next to it and three other rustic buildings.
The farmhouse (1,400 square metres) has 65 rooms divided into 3 floors, than there are a little farm building (56 square metres) and a big one with 2 floors (260 square metres). In addition to these beautiful buildings there are also the cistern and the oven, two superb stone manufactures with a similar appearance.
